Pamela Anderson stuns fans after returning to her iconic ’90s look

Pamela Anderson is once again commanding attention, revisiting the glamorous aesthetic that defined her rise to fame in the 1990s — and reminding audiences why that era still resonates.

For those who remember the decade, Anderson wasn’t just a familiar face on television — she was a cultural fixture. With her signature blonde hair, sun-kissed glow, and dramatic eye makeup, she didn’t merely star in Baywatch — she became inseparable from it. Whether racing across beaches in slow motion or gracing magazine covers, her image was omnipresent.

In recent years, however, Anderson has embraced a stripped-back, makeup-free appearance — a shift that earned widespread admiration for its authenticity. That’s what made her latest appearance so unexpected. The 57-year-old reemerged in a striking throwback look, fully leaning into the high-glam style that once defined her.

Collaborating with Los Angeles-based makeup artist David Velasquez, Anderson revived bold eyeliner, voluminous lashes, and her iconic blonde volume — a visual nod to her past. Velasquez posted the look on Instagram with the caption: “Rock n Roll like the 90s,” sparking an immediate wave of reactions online.

Dressed in a red Versace robe, paired with charcoal liner, overlined beige lips, and dramatic false lashes, the post quickly ignited nostalgia. Fans flooded the comments with excitement and surprise.

“OMG! She looks like Pamela again! Loveeeeee,” one fan gushed.

Others celebrated the transformation as a reminder of her legacy, with one writing, “a full face just to remind the girls who THE OG is!!!”

Not everyone was convinced, though. Some continued to favor her natural evolution. “She looked better natural although she looks great with makeup xxx,” one comment read, while another added, “I loved her natural but each to their own.”

The moment carried deeper meaning, given Anderson’s personal journey. Her decision to step away from makeup has been closely tied to the loss of her longtime friend and makeup artist Alexis Vogel, who passed away from breast cancer in 2019.

“She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup,” Pamela told Elle in 2023.

She later elaborated on that philosophy during Paris Fashion Week, telling Vogue France: “I’m not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room. I feel like it’s just freedom. It’s a release.”

Despite her embrace of natural beauty, Anderson’s public appearances continue to spark debate. Her bold look at the Met Gala 2025 drew mixed reactions online, with some critics questioning her styling choices.
